National Health Center Week: Thank you for Celebrating with All Care!

National Health Center Week Events at All Care!
Motorcyclists rode to all 14 health centers in Iowa, promoting Health Equity and the vital role they play in the state. All Care’s Julie Adkins represented All Care in the inaugural HERO ride.
Kids and community members were invited to draw with our provider team in front of the Mobile Medical Clinic at the Council Bluffs Community Library.
At our Community Tailgate Lunch on August 7th we welcomed HERO Riders to All Care while we enjoyed burgers, hotdogs, all the fixings, and tailgate games. At the Tailgate, All Care’s CEO, Joel Dougherty, presented the All Care Health Center’s Spirit Award, which honors community partners who support community health by helping All Care to meet their mission to provide affordable, comprehensive, and high-quality healthcare to the entire community. Each year, All Care Health Center staff members nominate and then vote to select a Spirit Award winner. This year, staff chose to honor the HOPE Medical Outreach Coalition.
On Thursday, we celebrated National Health Center Week at our weekly booth at the Farmers Market Council Bluffs! At the booth, Stacey and Stephanie handed out balloons and farmer’s market bucks. Located in Bayliss Park, the farmers market showcases seasonal and weekly vendors on Thursday evenings from 4:30 pm – 7:30 pm.
To round out the week All Care staff members participated in our Facebook Story Time. Our staff read their choice of children’s story throughout the day on Friday.
