We Think it’s Believable! 

All Care Health Center has been named one of only twenty-three UNbelievable Workplaces in Council Bluffs, earning the designation for the third year running.

UNbelievable Workplaces is an employee engagement and satisfaction program developed and managed by the Council Bluffs Area Chamber of Commerce. The program is designed to track employee satisfaction and focuses on ensuring a business is a human-centered workplace. Through the program, All Care gains insight, directly from team members, that helps to create a culture that employees want to work in. Understanding the culture of our workplace is the best way to increase employee engagement and strengthen our workforce attraction and retention efforts.

“Workplace culture is often overlooked or misunderstood, but it is one of the most influential drivers of employee engagement and retention for every business. The UNbelievable Workplaces survey is intended to give employers insights into how their employees feel, and I applaud the businesses who participated this year for engaging their teams in this work,” said Chris LaFerla, President and CEO of the Council Bluffs Area Chamber of Commerce. “The Chamber is committed to working with our business partners to improve employee engagement and retention in their business, and help make Council Bluffs UNlike anywhere else.”

When staff members were asked if they enjoyed working at All Care Health Center, over 94% said yes. This enjoyment is fueled by 91% of employees who feel a deep connection to the work and 92% who are motivated by All Care’s mission to provide affordable, comprehensive and high quality healthcare to the entire community. “Not all workplaces give you the chance to make the community a better place and that is our overall goal,” stated one team member’s anonymous response. Another specifically noted, “I am making a difference.”

Reflecting several years of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts, 92% feel that people of all cultures and backgrounds are respected and valued at All Care. “(We) are a diverse group of people . . . to help a diverse patient population.”   

An overwhelming 94% of team members have a good working relationship with their coworkers. “I have never worked in a place like this before. I absolutely love it here. I feel like a person should be treated respectfully where they work and this is the place that that happens.”

All Care’s team provided medical, dental and mental healthcare to over 5,600 patients in 2023, and invites others to join our mission-driven UNBelieveable team as we work to increase healthcare access.
