Delta Dental of Iowa Foundation Supports All Care’s Efforts to Expand Access to Care

The Delta Dental of Iowa Foundation is helping All Care Health Center increase access to integrated healthcare with a new grant aimed at expanding services on Saturdays.

Traditionally, All Care has offered primary medical care on Saturday mornings to accommodate patients unable to visit during the workweek. With this new funding, All Care has transformed its Saturday services to include behavioral health therapy. Funding also helps Care Coordinators to address patient needs brought forth on Saturdays. The goal is full integration of services, and All Care is actively seeking a dentist and hygienist, along with support positions, to complete the team for a comprehensive Saturday care experience.

The Delta Dental of Iowa Foundation emphasizes its dedication to health equity, stating, “Our commitment to health equity through Community of Health grant investments is rooted in the belief that all Iowans deserve equitable access to health care. We take a comprehensive approach to addressing health disparities among individuals who are disproportionately impacted in our state.”

Patients have responded positively to the expanded Saturday hours, expressing appreciation for the added convenience and access to integrated care services. All Care continues to welcome new patients to take advantage of its expanded Saturday morning services. The health center is open on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with the pharmacy available from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

This collaboration marks another step forward in ensuring accessible, equitable, and integrated care for the community.
